Day 1: Phnom Penh-Kratie-Kompong Cham
Dinner
Pick up from hotel or airport and depart Phnom Penh by car for Kompong Cham.
Short tour of Kompong Cham to view examples of colonial architecture. Visit Wat Nokhor with its ancient temple and modern style pagoda (12th century).
Lunch at local restaurant (supplement).
Continue to Kratie (260Km from Phnom Penh). Enroute stop at Chhup, the biggest rubber plantation in the country, established during the French colonial time by the French tire maker Michelin.
Arrive Kratie and continue to the site of the rare river dolphins to observe them.
Afternoon, return to Kompong Cham. Upon arrival transfer to hotel for check in.
Dinner at local restaurant and overnight at Mekong Hotel (best available)
Day 3: Kompong Cham-Siem Reap
Breakfast
Breakfast at local restaurant.
Depart to Kompong Thom. Enroute, visit Wat Kohear Nokor (11th century). Continue to Phum Prasat with its single ancient temple. Arrive in Kompong Thom. Lunch at local restaurant (supplement)
Continue to Sambor Prei Kuk temple, located 35 km northeast of Kompong Thom. Visit the ancient capital of Chenla with its 100 temples dating from the Pre-Angkorian period.
Continue to Siem Reap (the road from Kompong Thom to Siem Reap is now in good condition.  The drive takes around 2.5 hours). Enroute, visit traditional villages and stop at the ancient Naga Bridge (Spean Pratpo), located 40 km from Siem Reap. Arrive in Siem Reap and transfer to your hotel (accommodation & meal in Siem Reap not included in tour price). Check Siem Reap Stop over tour to continue your Angkor tour.
